Rounds Statement on Administration Move to Loosen Sanctions on Iran

WASHINGTON--U.S. Senator Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) made the following statement on the administration's proposed move to loosen sanctions on Iran by giving them limited access to U.S. dollars:

“Once again the Administration is loosening sanctions on Iran in a way it told Congress it would not do," said Rounds. "The JCPOA was bad enough but providing Iran with further access to US dollars is simply wrong.  It will only provide further opportunities to enrich this terrorist state.”
