  • Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies: Oversees funding for military construction projects as well as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

“I am pleased to be serving on six key Appropriations subcommittees on behalf of the people of South Dakota,” said Rounds. “These assignments will provide an opportunity to secure funding for programs and projects that are important for our state, including construction projects at Ellsworth Air Force Base which is under the jurisdiction of the Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies. I am excited to get to work with my colleagues on each subcommittee to return commonsense fiscal conservatism to the federal government.”
