Senator Rounds Meets with Veterans Groups

U.S. Senator Mike Rounds continues to shine the spotlight on matters important to veterans.

The senator met with the South Dakota American Legion and the South Dakota Disabled American Veterans in his Washington, D.C. office on Tuesday.

Rounds said that when service men and women step forward to bravely serve our country, steps must be made to ensure we honor our promises to them. The senator also had the opportunity to speak with veterans during a joint congressional hearing.

After thanking the veterans for their service, the group applauded Rounds for underscoring the important role the veterans administration plays in veteran care.
