Senator Rounds joins fellow senators to address consumer protection

U.S. Senator Mike Rounds is pooling resources to address security concerns with consumer data.

On Wednesday, Rounds joined with fellow senators in announcing the formation of the Senate Payments Innovation Caucus.

The formation of this bipartisan caucus means there will be a bigger concentration on data security issues, consumer protection and electronic payments.

As electronic consumer spending continues to grow, the Electronic Transactions Association applauds Rounds and fellow senators for their efforts in educating staff on this issue.
