Senator Rounds Introduces Balanced Budget Amendment

U.S. Senator Mike Rounds joined other Republicans in Washington Wednesday to introduce a Balanced Budget Amendment, which would require the federal government to balance its books.

Rounds says that those in the state of South Dakota understand the importance of spending taxpayer dollars wisely, so Washington should do the same.

The senator also says that having a balanced budget would send a strong message to job creators across the country that America is serious about growing the economy for the long haul.
